I’m Leisah Woldoff, a writer and editor based in Phoenix. After nearly two decades of writing about my local community through the lens of a newspaper journalist, I’ve started A Medley of Moments, write songs and work in nonprofit communications.

Life is made up of little moments and A Medley of Moments is place to reflect about these moments. Topics include parenthood, songwriting, popular culture, sources of inspiration and reflections on what’s happening in the world.

My hope is that this will be a little dose of light in your day that inspires you creatively, brings you joy, gets you thinking or even just distracts you for a moment from less joyful items in your newsfeed.

Who am I?

My background is in journalism, way back to my days on the high school newspaper and 17 years as a writer and editor on a community newspaper. I’m the mom of three boys (currently in the teen phase of life) and have written blogs on parenthood, songwriting and whatever I happened to be thinking about the time. I currently oversee communications for a nonprofit. I love to write and I hope you enjoy reading A Medley of Moments!
